Benefits of Brainstorming
Brainstorming has a lot of benefits in the problem solving process. Brainstorming provides an equal opportunity for everyone to participate thus creating a wide range of ideas. The diverse experience from participants increases the richness of ideas and thus providing better solutions to the problems (Deuja, Kohn, Paulus & Korde, 2014). The use of brainstorming in problem solving can be improved by preparing the participants in advance of the problem for them to brainstorm individually.
